Alyssa’s Pick of the Week: Anonymous

Drama/Thriller starring Rhys Ifans, Vanessa Redgrave, and David Thewlis. Set in the political snake-pit of Elizabethan England, a speculation on an issue that has for centuries intrigued academics and brilliant minds: who was William Shakespeare?

Even though I feel like The Town’s Collector Edition is worth checking out, I’m going to pick this Shakespeare movie since I didn’t have the chance to see it in theaters. The whole conspiracy of who Shakespeare was is intriguing and despite the bad reviews this film received, I’m willing to give it a chance.
