This sextet orchestral pop band hailing from Chicago brings a new sound to modern alternative pop rock. Developed in 2002, their popularity has been skyrocketing since the debut of their first EP, Find the Time. Fast forward to now with the bands latest release, The Fakeout, the Tease and the Breather, a long-awaited album that has definitely owned up to its previous release since their 2006 debut full-length, We Were Set Up.
The Fakeout, the Tease and the Breather, brings a collection of upbeat tunes you can dance your pants off to with tracks such as “Mexico City†and “Magazine (Songwriter On a Train)†to tracks that indie rock goers can mellow out to with “Throwaway†and “Appreciation.†For fans of Belle & Sebastian, The Decemberists, and The Flaming Lips, this group is definitely worth a listen.
