The time has come to take what is unattainable. Control of the undead. It is now your chance to be able to control the undead in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr. Of course, this path has lots of discussion among the people and is forbidden magic that you are supposed to stay away from, but it is your choice to master the power of the undead as it is available to all the races in Tamriel.

I see that you have made your choice to follow the path of the forbidden power. Know that this choice will have you be more subtle than the other classes in the game for using power to manipulate the fallen lead to dire consequences. The people nor the justice system will be on your side if you use this power openly. Practice when the eyes can no longer see to be able to grow strong on the necromancer skill lines. The developer wanted to make a proper balance of the world as it stands with this despised type of magic.

“We felt it was important to intertwine necromancy and justice for much the same reason we put Justice in the game in the first place,” says Ed Stark, the team’s Lead Content Designer in charge of the Necromancer class and the Justice system. “Historically, necromancy has always been frowned-upon by Tamrielic society, and so, when some NPCs see an overtly necromantic act, they react with fear or aggression and report it for the crime it is.”

So don’t go rising the undead every second you get around the townspeople. They have safeguards to make sure that the game is still fun and entertaining for necromancers without having an extremely high bounty for doing a job.

Being able to play a Necromancer isn’t the only thing that is coming on June 4th. If you pre-purchase the game they have some good bonuses that you can use in your game. Some of the bonuses are noble clan chief costume, dragon imp pet, and more in-game rewards that wait for you to retrieve them.
