Cheap Monday just released a C/O (Care Of) collaborative capsule with Re: Textile. Available once a year, the collection is all about transferring the context from workwear to fashion by repurposing. As part of the company’s ongoing initiative towards sustainability and their apparel finishing processes, C/O is Cheap Monday’s line constructed entirely with second-hand garments.
All pieces in the collection are made from unwanted garments that have been revamped into jackets, work chinos, T-shirts, sweatpants and a shopper bag, created with discarded workwear which features a worn look. Each piece is also unique due to specific detailing, ranging from patches and holes to discoloration. The stand out piece in the collection is the oversized neon yellow jacket which features silver accents throughout the design.
