Foot Fist Way DVD Release

Called “the best thing of its kind since Napoleon Dynamite” (Nathan Lee, New York Times) the outrageous martial arts comedy presented by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, THE FOOT FIST WAY, strikes a blow on DVD September 23, 2008 from Paramount Home Entertainment.  Starring up-and-coming comedy sensation Danny McBride (Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express), the hilarious story follows an inept Tae Kwon Do (which translates as “foot fist way”) instructor whose life hits the skids when his wife cheats on him.  Unbalanced by this personal upheaval, he seeks enlightenment by traveling to meet his martial arts hero and role model, Chuck “The Truck” Wallace (Ben Best).  THE FOOT FIST WAY became the talk of the underground comedy scene following its sensational debut at the  Los Angeles Film Festival and subsequently found its champions in Ferrell and McKay, who personally helped ensure that the film secured theatrical distribution.

Featuring a powerful force of special features, THE FOOT FIST WAY DVD includes loads of deleted scenes, including an alternate ending, hilarious bloopers, a behind-the-scenes featurette and commentary by director Jody Hill, actor Danny McBride and production designer Randy Gambill.
