New Harry Potter 6 Images

Months before the release of the sixth film in the Harry Potter franchise and a year after the release of the final book in the series, filmmakers are starting to publicize the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. USA and Moviefone have exclusive photos from the set of the latest installment.

 

The photos feature Harry showing his friends the mysterious Half-Blood Prince’s potion book, Hermione talking about a love potion in class, and Ron with a box of chocolates covered in a love potion.  Emotions explode in Prince as Hermione struggles with her feelings for Ron, Ron has two other girls with crushes on him, and Harry has intimate moments with Ginny. At the same time, Voldemort continues to grow in power and begins to include Draco Malfoy in his evil plans. Also, Dumbledore continues to mentor Harry and together they explore Voldemort’s past and begin the long process needed to defeat Voldemort.

 

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson reprise their roles as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Alan Rickman (Snape), Tom Felton (Draco), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), and Maggie Smith (Minerva McGonagall) are among the many actors from previous Harry Potter films to return alongside new additions to the cast such as Jim Broadbent as Horace Slughorn.

 

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will fly into theaters November 21, 2008.
