Paul Giamatti plays himself in the new comedy Cold Souls. Paul finds himself worrying about his latest performance as Uncle Vanya. As he becomes filled with more and more anxiety, he finds a solution to his problems through a New Yorker article. The article discusses a company that claims to alleviate their patients suffering by removing their souls. Paul decides to enlist their services but his life doesn’t get any better, so he returns to get it back only to find that his soul has been stolen. After discovering that Paul must track down his soul or he will end up soulless for the rest of his life.
