Jeff Daniels plays reclusive spiritual book author Arlen Faber. Arlen’s reclusive lifestyle changes one day after an accident causes him to throw his back out. The changes take place after he meets Elizabeth a single mother who owns the clinic that helped fixed his back. Elizabeth after learning his identity pursues him for advice along with a man who has just been released from rehab.
