Uncharted 2 Release Date Revealed Soon

Gotta love the video game industry, where announcements of announcements are enough to temporarily fill the fanboys hunger.

The latest announcement to be announced is regarding the official release date of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. During a chat with fans on the PlayStation Blog co-president of Naughty Dawg Evan Wells said “We still haven’t announced our release date. So for now it’s still “Fall”, but I assure you that an official date will be announced very soon.”

Better yet, he also confirmed that Uncharted 2 will be a longer game then its predecessor. “The single player campaign is definitely going to be longer than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.   We have over 90 minutes of cinematics alone!  And of course we have the competitve and co-op multiplayer modes too!”

Great news considering that length was the only real disappointing things about the first Uncharted.
