Joss Whedon Signs On To ‘The Avengers’ Sequel

In a statement released by the studio, Whedon will in fact be returning to write and direct the sequel, which is great news for fans of the superhero flick. Whedon, with his vast knowledge of comic books and the characters was no doubt a huge part of the success of the film and we can’t imagine another director trying to step into his shoes.
