America’s Sweetheart Julia Roberts is currently in talks to play the evil queen in The Brother’s Grimm: Snow White (Relativity Media). Roberts hasn’t been in many films where her character has evil qualities, so it could be refreshing and an interesting change of pace to see her branch out of her typical roles. In this version of the film, the role of Snow White hasn’t been cast as of right now. The film is set to be released in 2012, and will be directed by Tarsem Singh. It will most likely be released in 3D.

In a different adaptation, Snow White and the Huntsman (Universal), the role of Snow White may be cast to Twilight star Kristen Stewart, according to new reports. Also in negotiations for this version of Snow White is Charlize Theron, who is in talks to play the Evil Queen. This film is also set for a 2012 release date, and will be produced by Joe Roth.
