The Story:

Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum) are a young married couple, madly in love, and living fulfilling lives as artists in Chicago. One snowy night, the two fall victim to a car accident. Leo survives intact, but a head trauma erases Paige’s entire memory of her relationship with her husband. Leo is a stranger to her and he finds himself in the painful position of rebooting the relationship he’s waited his whole life for and winning his wife’s love all over again.

However, Paige has mentally reverted to the young law student she was five years earlier, before she met Leo and became an artist. Paige’s parents (Jessica Lange and Sam Neill) couldn’t fathom the idea of Paige dropping out and missing an opportunity for a promising career in law in order to be with Leo. They embrace this opportunity for their daughter to get back on the “right track” and to make matters even worse, Paige thinks she’s still engaged to charming businessman Jeremy (Scott Speedman) who still wants her. Paige is now more reluctant to embrace Leo with his less conventional lifestyle making music.

With her memory recovery appearing hopeless, Leo tests what he’s believed in love by starting from scratch and attempting to get Paige to fall in love with him all over again.
