Troubadour, TX Brings Country to Television


A new docu/reality series called ““Troubadour, TX,” is set to premiere on September 24 and September 25 in almost 140 U.S. markets. The series, which follows singer-songwriters in the country music industry, was produced by Dallas based London Broadcasting and 41 Entertainment.

“‘Troubadour, TX’ is all about the music, the passion and the journey,” says President and CEO of London Broadcasting Company, Terry London.

The show will follow several different musical singers and songwriters on location, both at home and performing on the road, as they navagate their careers in country music. Audiences will get a look into the behind-the-scenes world of a fast-paced, competitive industry. In addition to the action backstage, the show will include sound checks, studio recording sessions, and performances across Texas and the rest of America.

Stacy Dean Cambell, an acclaimed singer, songwriter, author, and film maker will be providing narration for the series. More cameos and commentary from other noteworthy musicians and industry professionals will also be featured.

The season will be comprised of twenty-two hour-long episodes — broadcast in high definition — and will premiere on the CW in most markets. Past episodes will be up at Check local listings for air times.
