Angels and Airwaves lead vocalist Tom DeLonge has been advised by Doctors not to travel, due to Illness. DeLonge has pneumonia, (https://twitter.com/#!/DougReesh/statuses/200445814282264577) and Angels and Airwaves has since announced a cancellation of tour dates.
“Angels & Airwaves regrettably announce today that due to Tom DeLonge being severely sick and advised by his doctors not to travel, the band will have to cancel their upcoming tour dates. Angels & Airwaves were scheduled to play on May 12th at the DC101 Chili Cook-Off, May 13th in Philadelphia, PA at Festival Pier for Radio 104.5′s birthday and on May 14th in New York at Webster Hall. Refunds will be available at point of purchase for the New York show. Sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause any of our fans!”
DeLonge is also a part of the band Blink-182, who has also recently canceled tour dates due to drummer Travis Barker having tonsil surgery.
