Chicken Soup for the Soul Changes Hands

Chicken Soup for the Soul changed publisher and distributor this year, bringing some new people to the project. The original publisher and distributor, Health Communications Inc., will still be handling back issues of the books, but Simon and Schuster will be handling all of the new titles.

Robert Jacobs and Bill Rouhana became heads of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books this past April and they have only few changes in mind for the books. The two, who have backgrounds in television and communications, are expecting to maintain the 10-12 titles per year quota and additionally hope to look into launching a Chicken Soup for the Soul Web site.
