With Mass Effect 3 primed to be the top game of 2012, BioWare and Microsoft are sparing no expenses to keep all eyes on the game as it nears its March 6th release date. One of the ways they will do this is by giving access to a demo available February 14th that will offer an in-depth look at the game’s multiplayer. However, to make sure that no one who wants to try it out is left out, Microsoft has offered a real sweet incentive for those who don’t have the required Xbox Live Gold membership needed to play Mass Effect 3. They have gone so far as give such players a trial subscription from which to enjoy the online multiplayer. BioWare had this to say about the offer:
“In celebration of ME3, Xbox is pleased to provide fans access to ME3 demo multiplayer for the time leading to launch. Xbox LIVE Gold gives you exclusive benefits including multiplayer gaming, member-only deals & previews, and access to entertainment with Netflix, ESPN, Hulu Plus and more.”
So, whether you are a full-time Gold subscriber or someone who’s wondering what all the craze is about, mark February 14th on your calendar, it’s going to be good.
