During the height of the Great Depression, members of the rowing team at the University of Washington get thrust into the spotlight as they compete for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
The sports drama film co-produced and directed by George Clooney from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith is based on the 2013 book of the same name by Daniel James Brown. The film stars Callum Turner and Joel Edgerton.
