Magnetic up-and-coming dance artist INJI is closing out the summer with her flippant, strut-inducing new track, “GIRLZ.” The track is from INJI’s forthcoming EP, WE GOOD – releasing on September 13 via AWAL. INJI has become known for fusing genres that seamlessly transition into danceable anthems with an extra dash of moxy.
Her last track, “NICE TO MEET YA (feat. Flyana Boss)” has received airplay across the pond via the preeminent BBC1 while her track “BELLYDANCING” has amassed over 30 million streams and topped some of the hottest playlists around the globe. The track had over 300,000 tags in its first week on Shazam.
INJI is a 23-year-old artist and songwriter from Turkey, now based in NYC. With a background in classical and jazz music, INJI transitioned into electronic and house music while she was studying at The Wharton School of Business at UPenn. Her solo career began with the unhinged and cheeky “GASLIGHT,” which garnered millions of streams and topped TikTok charts.
