Japanese punk rockers HEY-SMITH are excited to share that their latest album, Rest In Punk, will finally hit physical shelves in the U.S. on August 23. The band has teamed up with U.S.-based Bad Time Records to release a special “WORLD EDITION” of the LP, which includes a brand new track, “Feel My Pain.” This song, along with the rest of the album, has been re-mastered by Howie Weinberg Mastering. Fans can also check out the official music video for “Feel My Pain,” which was just released.
Rest In Punk also features the track “Say My Name,” which anime fans might recognize as the ending theme from the popular series Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc.
HEY-SMITH pays tribute to the spirit of ’90s punk while putting their own unique spin on the genre. Known for their high-energy, sweat-soaked live shows, the band connects with audiences through raw, almost outrageous performances, playing around 150 shows a year. They embody the spirit of punk, championing self-expression, individuality, and living life on your own terms—all while having a blast.
HEY SMITH will tour the US in September, performing shows with iconic ska bands like VooDoo Glow Skulls, The Suicide Machines, Mad Caddies, Panteón Rococó and others.
