Aliza Hava’s new album Into the Light has been making waves, holding steady in the Top Ten of the Roots Music Report Folk Rock chart for several weeks. Recently released on Bandcamp, the record is quickly gaining recognition as a transformative work that blends artistry with emotional depth.
Based in Ashland, Oregon, with regular creative trips to Nashville and New Orleans, Hava channels her experiences into music that is both personal and universal. Into the Light is more than an album—it’s a journey. Each track guides listeners through themes of trauma, resilience, and renewal, offering an empowering path from darkness to self-love. The result is a cathartic listening experience that resonates long after the last note.
The project was brought to life by multi-platinum Grammy® Award-winning producer Mikal Blue, known for his work with Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz. Supporting Hava’s soaring vocals and evocative songwriting is a stellar lineup of musicians, including Dean Dinning of Toad the Wet Sprocket on bass and Gregg Bissonette, drummer for Ringo Starr’s All-Star Band.
With its rich instrumentation and poignant storytelling, Into the Light establishes Hava as a compelling voice in modern folk rock.
