“Hello cruel world / I’m not going away / So I might as well have my say,” declares Joe Jackson on his upcoming album Hope and Fury. At a stage when many peers have faded, Jackson continues to thrive—vocally, creatively, and passionately.
Hope and Fury arrives April 10, 2026, on digital, CD, and 180g vinyl, available for preorder now. To celebrate, Jackson will embark on a massive 80-date tour—North America from May to July, and Europe from September to December. Tickets go on sale November 14, 2025, via his official website.
Described by Jackson as part of his “own mainstream,” the album features nine new songs blending pop sophistication, Latin groove, and sharp British wit. Recorded between Berlin and New York with longtime collaborators Graham Maby, Teddy Kumpel, Doug Yowell, and percussionist Paulo Stagnaro, Hope and Fury bridges eras—mixing the bite of Laughter and Lust with the warmth of Night and Day.
From the satirical “Welcome to Burning-By-Sea” to the poignant closer “See You in September,” Jackson proves he’s still full of both humor and heart. Hope and Fury is Joe Jackson at his most alive.
