mgk is kicking off 2025 with a pop-rock jolt, reuniting with the Jonas Brothers for a fizzy, swoon-ready remix of his runaway hit “cliché.” The collaboration was sparked last fall when mgk crashed the Brothers’ Vancouver tour stop for a surprise, high-energy performance that instantly set fans buzzing.

The newly released “cliché (Jonas Brothers Remix)” bottles that full-band electricity, weaving the voices of all four artists into a heartfelt plea for love. Born from mgk’s chart-topping album lost americana—his third consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart—the original track was crafted with longtime collaborators SlimXX, BazeXX, and Nick Long. What begins as a stripped-back guitar moment surges into pop-punk adrenaline, now enriched with the Jonas Brothers’ signature harmonies.

“cliché” has already proven to be a defining piece of lost americana, spawning a tender acoustic “sad version” and landing mgk on major stages like Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards and The Today Show.

The remix lands as mgk continues his massive lost americana tour, spanning North America, Europe, and the UK through July 2026—including select dates celebrating the five-year anniversary of his landmark 2020 album Tickets to My Downfall.
