Nashville alum Scott Collins returns with Capistrano Beach, a nine-track album that blends raw Americana roots with his unmistakably introspective songwriting. Originally created as a personal gift for a close friend, the project took on a life of its own after fellow Nashville musicians urged him to share it with the world. The result is a warmly crafted release available across major platforms, including Bandcamp, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and limited-edition vinyl.

The album highlights Collins’ ability to write with both grit and grace. Songs like “I’m The Blood”, “The Longest Shot of All”, and “Nashville Sugar” showcase his narrative depth, while “My Language Is Ancient” and “Firecracker #3”add texture with poetic phrasing and spacious instrumentation. Each track leans into the Americana foundation he’s known for—honest storytelling, earthy tones, and melodies that linger.

Capistrano Beach arrives during a prolific year for Collins. It follows the early-2025 full-band album Bravery Is Necessary and his emotional standalone single “Extinguish the Flame,” written about the end of his marriage and the creative chapter he shared as part of The Smoking Flowers. Together, these works paint a portrait of an artist in motion—vulnerable, evolving, and fully committed to the craft.
