Boston alternative rock breakout Fai Laci are keeping their momentum high with the release of their second single, “Grains of Sand,” streaming everywhere now. Fresh off a tour through the East Coast, Midwest, and South, the band once again teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Dan Auerbach, who produced the track at his Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, TN. Alongside the release comes an official music video, filmed by the band themselves while on tour and now live on YouTube.

“Grains of Sand” follows Fai Laci’s label debut single, “Angels and The Others,” and dives deeper into the emotional core that has fueled the band’s rapid rise. Frontman Luke Faillaci describes the song as a reflection on lingering anxiety and resilience, shaped both by time and by the intense, collaborative environment of recording live with the band and Auerbach. That raw honesty carries into the video, capturing the chaos, exhaustion, and exhilaration of life on the road.

Emerging from Boston’s storied music scene, Fai Laci have quickly become one of alternative rock’s most compelling new voices. With over 15 million total streams across their EPs and a growing fanbase nationwide, the band is now hard at work on their debut full-length album in Nashville. As Faillaci puts it, their mission is simple: to make powerful rock music that builds real community—and makes people feel something.
