New York band MX LONELY return with “Return to Sender,” a sharp, emotionally charged preview of their upcoming debut album ALL MONSTERS, due out February 20, 2026 via Julia’s War Recordings. The single explores the quiet devastation of indifference—the kind that lingers longer than anger—and arrives alongside an official music video directed by Owen Lehman.

Vocalist and syntheist Rae Haas describes the track as an attempt to step outside their own spiraling thoughts. Written instinctively, “Return to Sender” reframes emotional distance as something that doesn’t have to be carried alone. Its mantra-like chorus becomes an act of release: if your intentions are honest, what others project onto you isn’t yours to hold.

With pulsing synths and raw introspection, MX LONELY continue to carve out a sound that’s both vulnerable and defiant. “Return to Sender” suggests ALL MONSTERS will be an album unafraid to stare discomfort straight in the face—and send it right back where it came from.
