Apple is leaning into darker storytelling with Outcome, the upcoming Apple Original Film directed by Jonah Hill. The newly released trailer teases a sharp, introspective dark comedy led by Keanu Reeves, joined by an eclectic ensemble including Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, and Laverne Cox. The film premieres globally on Apple TV on April 10, 2026.
At the center is Reef Hawk (Reeves), a beloved Hollywood icon whose carefully curated life begins to unravel after a mysterious blackmailer threatens to expose a damaging video. What follows is less a traditional scandal story and more a reflective spiral inward. Reef, supported by his closest friends and a crisis lawyer played by Hill, embarks on a journey to confront past mistakes and uncover the truth.
Hill, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ezra Woods, brings a distinct tonal balance—blending absurdity, nostalgia, and emotional reckoning. The film promises both biting humor and a deeper look at fame, identity, and accountability.
With a cast that also includes David Spade and Martin Scorsese, Outcome looks poised to be one of 2026’s most intriguing releases.
