Glen Hansard has unveiled a stirring live performance video for “My Little Ruin,” the latest preview of his upcoming album Don’t Settle – Transmissions East, arriving April 24.

Recorded across two nights at Berlin’s iconic Funkhaus Berlin, the project blurs boundaries—part live album, part retrospective, part fresh studio statement. The result captures Hansard’s raw, unfiltered artistry in front of an intimate audience.

“My Little Ruin” carries personal weight. Hansard describes it as an “intervention song,” written for a friend struggling through self-destructive patterns—an honest reminder of the power of truth delivered with care.

The release follows earlier singles “Didn’t He Ramble” and “Down On Our Knees,” with more live videos expected ahead of launch.

Spanning his solo work, The Frames, and The Swell Season, the two-volume collection stands as a defining moment—reflecting on the past while pushing boldly forward.

After Hansard’s initial run of tour dates in the U.S. and Canada ahead of Transmissions East quickly sold out, he announced two additional shows next month in Asbury Park, NJ, and Washington, DC.
