Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again raises the stakes as Matt Murdock fights to reclaim a New York City firmly under the control of Mayor Wilson Fisk. No longer hiding in the shadows, Matt is now public enemy number one, hunted by a powerful anti-vigilante task force that has effectively turned law enforcement against masked heroes.

Picking up after the fallout of Season 1, Matt learns a devastating truth: Foggy’s death wasn’t ordered by Fisk, but by Vanessa, who had been secretly running his criminal empire. The revelation adds a deeply personal layer to Matt’s mission. Meanwhile, after saving Fisk during a violent mayoral attack, Matt is repaid with betrayal as Fisk unleashes near-martial law on vigilantes across the city.

Now a fugitive, Matt fully embraces his role as Daredevil and seeks help from Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. Their alliance pushes Matt to confront the limits of his moral code, especially as Castle’s lethal methods clash with his own no-kill philosophy.

Fisk tightens his grip on the city through political power and manipulation, even co-opting mental health narratives to fuel his anti-vigilante agenda. The season unfolds across multiple battlegrounds—physical, political, and psychological—highlighting a brutal war of ideology between hero and tyrant.

Premiering March 24, 2026, exclusively on Disney+, new episodes drop weekly through May 12. Early reactions praise the season’s sharper storytelling, intense action, and a more balanced blend of courtroom drama and street-level heroics.
