Los Angeles-based Militarie Gun releases their NPR Tiny Desk Concert performance today. The stripped back show features new versions of songs from throughout their discography, including “B A D I D E A,” “God Owes Me Money,” “Throw Me Away,” “Don’t Pick Up The Phone,” “Thought You Were Waving,” and “Do It Faster.”
Militarie Gun will headline the first ever California Chaos Festival in Los Angeles on April 11th. The all Californian band bill will include sets from Stateside, Grave Secrets, Xcomm, Blossom, Jawdropped, and Star99. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to chirla.org.
Additionally, Militarie Gun are midway through their North American tour with Joyce Manor, where they recently performed to a sold out crowd at New York City’s Brooklyn Paramount, and still have shows in Chicago, St. Louis, Denver, Vancouver, Seattle, and more on the horizon.
The band continues to build momentum with their energetic live presence and evolving sound, drawing in new listeners while rewarding longtime fans. This Tiny Desk session offers a rare intimate glimpse into their dynamic catalog.
