Plaion Pictures has officially announced the digital release of Killer Whale, a tense new creature feature arriving on major platforms on 18th May. Directed by Jo-Anne Brechin and co-written with Katharine McPhee, the survival horror stars Virginia Gardner, Melanie Jarnson, and Mitchell Hope in a terrifying battle against nature’s deadliest predator.

The story follows best friends Trish Stevens and Maddie Clark as they become trapped in a deadly confrontation with a powerful orca in open water. Haunted by painful memories from the past, the pair must rely on courage and instinct to survive the nightmare unfolding around them. As the danger intensifies, every decision could mean the difference between life and death.

Virginia Gardner, known for FALL, delivers a gripping performance alongside Mel Jarnson from Mortal Kombat. Together, they bring emotional depth and raw fear to this suspenseful thriller.

Killer Whale also highlights the tragic reality surrounding captive orcas, noting that no fatal attacks involving wild orcas have ever been recorded. Horror fans can expect suspense, emotional drama, and nerve shredding action when Killer Whale premieres digitally this May. With haunting ocean cinematography and relentless pacing, the film promises an unforgettable viewing experience for fans of modern survival horror cinema worldwide.
