Insurgency: Sandstorm is back in the line of fire with its latest free content drop, “Operation: Breachpoint,” now live across PC and consoles. The tactical shooter’s Update 1.21 packs fresh weapons, a tense new battleground, and a slate of cosmetic gear for players ready to jump back into the chaos.
The headline addition is “Hold,” a gritty close-quarters map centered around a police station and jail complex overrun by Insurgents. The setup feels tailor-made for Sandstorm’s signature room-clearing tension, as Special Forces fight floor-by-floor to rescue hostages and retake the compound. Expect brutal corridor firefights and very little breathing room.

Players also get two new pistols for free. Security forces receive the sleek Fowler Vanta 9, while Insurgents gain access to the rugged TK-33. Both sidearms arrive alongside new patches and gameplay additions included for everyone.
On the premium side, Operation: Breachpoint introduces cosmetic DLC packs including the Rapid Assault and Scavenger gear sets, plus Endurance and War Torn weapon skins.
Insurgency: Sandstorm is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with 4K 60 FPS support and global crossplay keeping the action alive across every platform.
