horsegiirL is turning up the heat just days before the release of her highly anticipated debut album, NATURE IS HEALING, arriving this Friday via horsegiirL/RCA Records. The genre-bending artist, DJ, producer, and self-proclaimed half-horse, half-human star has unveiled her latest single, “that’s my beach!,” which premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record in the World.
Accompanying the track is a delightfully surreal music video co-directed by horsegiirL alongside Enantios Dromos and Rosario Bohio. Inspired by a sun-soaked day on a Brazilian beach, the visual follows a whimsical romance sparked when horsegiirL encounters a mythical half-woman, half-seahorse creature. The directors describe the project as a heartfelt reunion, blending childhood memories, horse culture, and a playful aquatic love story set against Brazil’s vibrant coastline.
The new single offers another glimpse into NATURE IS HEALING, a 15-track album built around themes of connection, nature, and collective harmony. Featuring contributions from acclaimed producers including A.G. Cook, Casey MQ, Nomak, and Luvhunter, the record weaves together electronic sounds with samples of birds, insects, mammals, and global percussion traditions.
Looking ahead, horsegiirL will bring her message worldwide on the NATURE IS HEALING Tour, kicking off in September with headline dates across North America and Europe, alongside major festival appearances throughout the year.
