Battlefield 6 has dropped its latest Season 3 update, bringing fresh ways to play whether you’re chasing intense squad battles or easing into Battle Royale.
The headline addition is the Wet Work event, where fallen enemies can drop Contracts that challenge players with mid-match objectives like securing eliminations, capturing objectives, looting chests, or simply surviving. Complete the contract, stay alive, and reap the rewards as you fight across Multiplayer and REDSEC.

Competitive squads also have something new to master. Tactical Obliteration shrinks the action into an intense 8v8 showdown, putting teamwork and objective play front and center. The new mode arrives in Verified Portal on June 30 and is designed for players looking for a more tactical, high-stakes experience.
For those who prefer a gentler introduction, Casual Battle Royale offers a more relaxed take on REDSEC. With bots helping to smooth out match pacing, it’s an ideal mode for learning the ropes, experimenting with new classes and loadouts, or simply warming up before diving into more competitive matches.
The update also includes the latest gunplay improvements showcased in the Battlefield Combat series, making this one of Season 3’s biggest gameplay refreshes yet.
