Berlin’s rave maestro Marlon Hoffstadt is ready to soundtrack the summer with the surprise announcement of his new album, Das Ist Daddy, arriving August 7 via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3.
The title—German for “That Is Daddy”—first lit up Coachella’s Sahara Stage after Hoffstadt’s explosive debut, where he invited 300 fans onstage in a celebration that perfectly captured his community-first approach. That same spirit runs through the album, which opens with the euphoric new single “Party People” before delivering seven more high-energy club anthems built for peak-time dancefloors.
Out now, “Party People” is an infectious nod to dance music history, sampling Marshall Jefferson’s iconic 1986 house anthem “Move Your Body” alongside The Puppies’ “Hokey Pokey II.” The release is backed by a full Coachella performance stream, a documentary and a fan-led music video, cementing Hoffstadt’s reputation as one of electronic music’s most exciting live performers.
Recently crowned “a global dance phenomenon, a defining DJ of the now” by Mixmag, Hoffstadt’s summer tour continues with appearances at FVDED in the Park, CRSSD Music Festival and Portola Music Festival, bringing his trademark blend of rave, trance and Eurodance to audiences around the world.
