Nashville indie outfit Saycouth is turning up the anticipation with the premiere of the music video for their upcoming single, “Where Do We Go,” arriving this Friday, August 7.
Directed and edited by Carey Ott under the Freaks of Nashville banner, the video sets the stage for a song the band describes as both a “dangerous love song” and an allegory for today’s world—with a distinctly Shakespearean twist.
Recorded at Wild Feather Recording in Nashville, the track was engineered and produced by Zach Kasik, whose résumé includes work at Hollywood’s Oceanway Recording alongside legendary artists such as Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, and Dr. Dre.
The single features Saycouth’s core lineup—Mikayla Debasio (vocals), Nick Bliski (guitar), Frankie Hill (keys and sax), Jarred Harris (bass), and Herschal Van Dyke (drums)—with special contributions from Rick Gehrenbeck (Poi Dog Pondering) on keyboards and Rachel Robinson (Chance the Rapper, Chicago Catz) on background vocals.
“Where Do We Go” continues a strong run for the band, following 2025’s singles “It’s the Ride,” “Phantom Love,” and “Magic,” as well as their acclaimed 2024 EP Full Moon Night in Sheffield.
