The first official trailer for PRIMETIME has arrived, offering an intriguing look at one of this year’s most anticipated festival premieres.
Directed by Lance Oppenheim, PRIMETIME is inspired by true events and stars Robert Pattinson as the infamous To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen. The film also features Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher, and Bokeem Woodbine.
Set in 2006, the story follows Hansen as he pursues a broadcast that could make television history, exploring the blurred lines between media spectacle and real-life consequences.
Ahead of its world premiere in competition at the Venice International Film Festival, the trailer offers a tense first glimpse at the drama and transformation at the heart of the film.
PRIMETIME opens exclusively in theaters on September 25.
