London-based, Australian-born producer, songwriter and DJ HAAi is keeping summer energy firmly switched on with her latest single, ‘I Wanna Feel Like Someone’, featuring James Massiah.
Built from memories of HAAi’s years behind the decks, the track is a full-throttle dancefloor workout driven by bass, frequency and Motorik rhythms. As HAAi puts it, it’s a track “purely made from memories of my sets over the years” — a love letter to the sounds that have fuelled her all-night sessions.
Massiah, who also appeared on HAAi’s previous album HUMANiSE, adds a crucial vocal anchor amid the track’s dense, textured production. “Love working with HAAi,” he says, “always grateful when an artist I respect finds a new way to present my voice.”
The single arrives ahead of HAAi’s new album DIGITiSE, landing via Mute on October 9, 2026. Originally conceived as an extension of HUMANiSE, the project quickly developed its own identity — what HAAi calls its predecessor’s “bigger, ravey sibling.” If HUMANiSE explored the human side of an increasingly digital world, DIGITiSE takes that conversation straight to the club.
The album features a wide-ranging cast of collaborators, including Echonomist, Skybreak, Colombian children’s choir Cantoalegre, Pat Alvarez, ILA, Kaiden Ford and, of course, Massiah. It’s a fitting reflection of HAAi’s belief in the dancefloor as one of the few places where technology, genre and difference can temporarily disappear in favour of collective experience.
And she’s taking that spirit back on the road. New DJ dates include an all-night set at EartH in London on 31 October and a 10-hour marathon at Refuge in New York on 18 October — exactly the kind of extended sessions that helped shape DIGITiSE in the first place.
