Tertium just got a whole lot more dangerous.
Fatshark’s latest free update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Depths of the Damned, is now live on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. And this time, players are heading deep beneath the hive to investigate something that definitely should have been left alone.
The new Spillway mission sends Strike Teams into the twisting tunnels and waterways controlled by Tertium’s Water Cartel. The deeper you go, the worse things get—and waiting at the bottom is a new nightmare: the Prophet of Decay.
This corrupted psyker isn’t exactly the welcoming committee. Taking him down will require teamwork, smart play and plenty of firepower.
Thankfully, players aren’t going in empty-handed. Depths of the Damned adds six new weapons, including the Ogryn Cruncher, Huntsman’s Shotgun and Ogryn Thugshot, along with new weapon marks designed to expand the arsenal across multiple classes.
The update also brings class and weapon balance changes, refined talent trees, a new Allies and Adversaries live event, and fresh premium cosmetics featuring the Cadian 512th and Krieg 158th.
So, grab your squad, head into the depths and prepare for a very bad day underground.
