The Undervale is reopening its doors—and the ghosts are bringing their usual baggage.
Netflix’s adult animated comedy Haunted Hotel returns for Season 2 on October 9, giving fans another chance to check into the wonderfully weird world created by Matt Roller, a writer whose credits include Rick and Morty, Community, and Archer.
The series follows a single mom trying to keep the struggling Undervale Hotel afloat. The catch? It’s haunted. Her estranged brother is also one of the ghosts, and he’s convinced the hotel’s supernatural residents might actually have some good ideas.
The voice cast features Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson, bringing plenty of personality to the hotel’s living—and deceased—residents.
Roller serves as showrunner and executive producer, working alongside Rick and Morty veterans Dan Harmon and Steve Levy, as well as Chris McKenna. Erica Hayes serves as supervising director.
With its mix of workplace comedy, family drama, and supernatural chaos, Haunted Hotel has plenty of room to get even stranger in Season 2.
Season 2 checks in October 9 on Netflix. Until then, it might be worth booking a stay at the Undervale and catching up on Season 1.
