Ready to put the pedal to the metal—or the repulsor to the floor? Star Wars: Galactic Racer is officially available today, October 6, bringing a new kind of racing adventure to a galaxy far, far away.

Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, the game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Amazon Luna.

Players step into the role of Shade, a lone racer recruited to take on the Galactic League, an underground racing circuit operating in the lawless Outer Rim. At the top sits Kestar Bool, a ruthless champion determined to protect his position—and Shade has plenty of personal reasons to bring him down.

Race. Build. Survive.

Galactic Racer takes a slightly different approach to the racing genre with a runs-based campaign, allowing players to choose their path through the Galactic League. Each run offers new events, challenges, unlocks and rivalries, giving players plenty of reasons to get back behind the wheel.

And there are plenty of wheels—or, more accurately, repulsors—to choose from. Players can pilot landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders and podracers, each offering its own handling and playstyle.

Customization is also a major part of the experience. Build and modify your craft to suit your racing style, then take it into high-speed events where playing it safe isn’t always the fastest route to victory.

The game also features solo story-driven play and PvP, with players competing against rivals while building their reputation within the Galactic League.

A New Way Into the Star Wars Galaxy

With support for 1–12 players, Star Wars: Galactic Racer looks to offer something for longtime fans and newcomers alike. It’s designed to be easy to pick up while still giving experienced players plenty to dig into through customization, rivalries and strategic racing.

For Fuse Games, today’s launch is a particularly big milestone. The independent studio began work on the project three and a half years ago as a small team with a big idea. Now, that idea has officially arrived in one of the biggest fictional universes in the world.

The Galactic League is open.

Start your engines, choose your ride and try to make a name for yourself in the Outer Rim.
