A24’s newest feature, SORRY, BABY, will make its highly anticipated streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max in the U.S. on Thursday, October 30. The film will also air on HBO linear the same evening at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Written and directed by Eva Victor, SORRY, BABY stars Victor alongside Naomi Ackie, Lucas Hedges, John Carroll Lynch, Louis Cancelmi, and Kelly McCormack.
At the heart of the story is Agnes, a woman struggling to move on after something terrible disrupts her life. While everyone else seems to carry on effortlessly, Agnes finds herself stuck—until a visit from a close friend, on the verge of a life-changing moment, forces her to confront her own stagnation. What follows is an intimate, darkly funny exploration of grief, friendship, and the strange process of learning how to live again.
With Victor’s distinct voice and A24’s signature blend of wit and emotional depth, SORRY, BABY promises to deliver a poignant, offbeat look at what it means to heal when the world refuses to wait for you.
Mark your calendars—SORRY, BABY arrives on HBO Max and HBO this October 30.
