The first trailer for Shelter, the upcoming action thriller headlined by Jason Statham, hits theaters on January 30, 2026. The film, which has not yet received an MPA rating, teases a tense, atmospheric story set on a remote coastal island.

Statham stars as a reclusive loner whose solitude is shattered when he rescues a young girl, played by Bodhi Rae Breathnach, from a violent storm. The life-saving act pulls them both into escalating danger, forcing him to confront a troubled past he’s spent years avoiding. As threats close in, the unlikely pair are pushed into a gripping fight for survival—and perhaps a shot at redemption.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, known for adrenaline-fuelled hits like Greenland and Angel Has FallenShelter is penned by screenwriter Ward Parry. The cast rounds out with Naomi Ackie and Academy Award nominee Bill Nighy, adding dramatic depth to the high-stakes adventure.

With its blend of rugged action, emotional stakes, and storm-swept tension, Shelter looks poised to deliver a powerful punch when it storms into theaters this January.
