All Them Witches have unveiled their new song “Red Rocking Chair,” marking the first release from the band with BMG and the first taste of music from their refreshed lineup. Featuring Ben McLeod (guitar), Charles Michael Parks, Jr. (bass/vocals), Christian Powers (drums), and Allan Van Cleave (keys), the track signals the beginning of a new chapter—one that still feels deeply rooted in the band’s past.
A reimagining of a traditional bluegrass standard, “Red Rocking Chair” transforms familiar folk lyrics into something darker, heavier, and hypnotic. Parks recalls knowing the song since childhood, often hearing it played in a straight bluegrass style. When McLeod brought in a riff, the lyrics naturally resurfaced, tying the song back to the band’s early touring days spent playing bluegrass at after-parties, in stairwells, and on the street.
Fans may recognize the tune from live shows, where Parks would occasionally swap the lyrics into “Swallowed By The Sea.” After years of curiosity from audiences, the band decided it was finally time to let the song stand on its own.
All Them Witches will kick off the second leg of their North American headline tour on February 13, hitting cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, and Austin. Coming off a strong 2025 with 22 sold-out shows across North America and Europe, the band shows no signs of slowing down.
