Nine-time GRAMMY winner Anderson .Paak has released “Keychain,” a vibrant new single featuring South Korean girl group aespa. The track arrives alongside his directorial debut, K-POPS!, now playing exclusively at AMC Theatresnationwide, and marks the first release from a larger film-inspired musical project.

Built on the fusion of .Paak’s hip-hop, R&B, and funk roots with aespa’s sleek K-pop sensibilities, “Keychain” mirrors the film’s cross-cultural spirit. For .Paak, who is Korean and African-American, the blend feels personal—an organic reflection of influences that have always shaped his artistry.

Set against a Seoul-based K-pop competition show, K-POPS! explores generational connection and cultural exchange, following a father and son whose lives intersect in unexpected ways. That same meeting of worlds pulses through “Keychain.”

“I’m excited to join forces with aespa,” .Paak shared. “We come from different worlds, but we’re connected by the same passion for music.”

“Working on ‘Keychain’ was such a fun and inspiring experience,” aespa added.

“Keychain” is now streaming worldwide.
