Apple TV+ took center stage at ATX TV Festival in Austin on May 30, celebrating its acclaimed new dark comedy thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed with a special screening and star-studded panel discussion.
Creator and showrunner David J. Rosen joined cast members Tatiana Maslany, Jake Johnson, Jessy Hodges, Brandon Flynn, and Murray Bartlett at the State Theatre following a screening of episodes three and four. The conversation, moderated by Entertainment Weekly executive editor Samantha Highfill, gave fans an inside look at one of the season’s most talked-about new series.

Since premiering globally on May 20, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed has earned a strong 94% Rotten Tomatoes score, with critics calling it “addictive,” “wickedly funny,” and “a dizzying, adrenaline-fueled ride.”
The 10-episode series follows Paula (Maslany), a newly divorced mother who becomes entangled in a twisting mystery involving blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. As she investigates what she believes is a crime, Paula finds herself uncovering a much larger conspiracy—while trying to rebuild her family and sense of self.
Produced by Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, the series is created by Rosen and executive produced by director David Gordon Green, alongside Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon, and Bard Dorros.
New episodes of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premiere every Wednesday on Apple TV+ through July 15.
