Fans of Trying won’t have to wait much longer. Apple TV has officially released the first trailer for Season 5 of its beloved comedy series, with new episodes arriving globally on July 8.
Starring Esther Smith and Rafe Spall as Nikki and Jason, the heartwarming series continues its mix of humor, family drama, and emotional storytelling. This season throws the couple into fresh chaos when Kat, the biological mother of their adopted children Princess and Tyler, unexpectedly reappears and disrupts their carefully balanced family life.
Since debuting, Trying has earned a loyal following thanks to its relatable characters, uplifting tone, and refreshingly honest look at modern family life. The series currently boasts a 96% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes and is frequently praised as one of Apple TV’s most charming original shows.
Season 5 will feature eight episodes, with a new episode releasing weekly through August 26. The new season also introduces an original soundtrack from acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Orla Gartland, whose new single “At The End Of The Day” can be heard in the trailer.
