Chicago’s own Ax and The Hatchetmen have unveiled their long-awaited debut album, So Much To Tell You, out now via Arista Records. Following their Constant Change EP, the new record expands the band’s dynamic sound—a vibrant blend of garage-rock grit, psychedelic shimmer, and jammy energy.

Produced by Jake Sinclair (Panic! At The Disco, Weezer), the album features collaborations with Albert Hammond Jr.of The Strokes on the electrifying single “Blurry Lights” and a rediscovered Rivers Cuomo demo on “7×9.” Other highlights include the racing fan favorite “Stay // Honestly,” and “Hotel Room,” the heartfelt track that inspired the album’s title.

The band—fronted by Axel Ellis and rounded out by Sal Defilippis, Hunter Olshefke, Nick Deputy, Phil Pistone, and Quinn Dolan—recently kicked off their North American headline tour, selling out venues in Los Angeles, Boston, and Denver.

Formed in 2018, Ax and The Hatchetmen have built a reputation for euphoric live shows and genre-spanning creativity. With So Much To Tell You, they deliver their most complete musical statement yet—radiant, hopeful, and impossible not to move to.
