Battlefield 6 is closing out 2025 with a bang. Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have announced a special free trial, available now through December 2, giving newcomers a chance to dive into one of the year’s best-selling and most talked-about shooters. Players can sample select maps and modes—including the explosive new Southern California battleground, Eastwood, where tanks, helicopters, and even golf carts collide in classic Battlefield chaos.
Since its October 10 launch, Battlefield 6 has surged to global success, breaking long-standing franchise records and earning multiple nominations at The Game Awards, including Best Multiplayer Game, Best Action Game, and Best Audio Design. Its momentum has been fueled by a record-shattering Open Beta, all-time high sales in its first three days, and the surprise addition of Battlefield REDSEC, a ferocious new twist on Battle Royale introduced just eighteen days after release.
And the action isn’t slowing down. This December, players can gear up for Winter Offensive, the next major update packed with fresh content for the community.
General Manager Byron Beede praised the passionate fanbase, calling the free trial “the perfect opportunity” for new players to experience the all-out warfare millions are already enjoying.
Battlefield 6 is playable now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with both the Standard Edition and content-packed Phantom Edition available.
