As she gears up for major European festivals like Glastonbury and Roskilde, 2023’s breakout artist Blondshell (Sabrina Teitelbaum) has released a live in-studio performance video for her latest hit single “Docket (feat. Bully)” via Partisan Records. The track has received rave reviews since its release, and the video showcases the chemistry between Blondshell and Bully. Their dynamic vocal pairing and witty lyrics about the risks of touring have kept “Docket” on the radar, earning spots on mid-year best-of-2024 lists from NPR, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Paste, and more.
This summer has been packed for Blondshell as she tours across North America, the UK, and Europe to promote her 2023 self-titled debut album. She recently wowed crowds at New York City’s Governors Ball Festival and Boston Calling Festival. This fall, she’ll join Glass Animals for select West Coast dates, including a show at The Forum in Los Angeles on September 11. She’ll also perform at the XPoNential Music Festival in Camden, NJ, and the All Things Go Festival in Columbia, MD later that month. Check out all tour dates below, with more to be announced.
Blondshell’s busy schedule isn’t just about touring. She recently won Best Rock Album and Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2024 A2IM Libera Awards, held on June 10 in New York City.
Additionally, Blondshell contributed to the compilation Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense (A24). Her rendition of “Thank You for Sending Me an Angel” earned praise from The Associated Press for her powerful vocals. The compilation also features artists like girl in red, The Linda Lindas, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, and The National.
Blondshell released her debut album in Spring 2023 via Partisan Records to global critical acclaim and followed up with a deluxe version in the Fall, featuring new tracks and alternative versions of older singles. The album made numerous year-end lists from outlets like Rolling Stone, The LA Times, Billboard, NPR, Uproxx, and more. The track “Joiner” even made it onto Barack Obama’s year-end playlist. Blondshell’s success is evident in her sold-out tours, TV performances, and glowing reviews, as well as her deepening connection with fans. In 2023, she headlined her own sold-out tour and supported Liz Phair. She also made her late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a performance of “Salad.”
