Apple TV is gearing up for an inspiring family adventure. Apple Original Films has unveiled the first trailer for Way of the Warrior Kid, a new film starring Chris Pratt and directed by McG (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator Salvation). The movie premieres globally on Apple TV on November 25, 2026.
Based on the bestselling novel by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, the film follows Marc (Jude Hill), a middle schooler struggling with bullying, schoolwork and fitting in. His summer takes an unexpected turn when his injured uncle Jake (Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL, moves in to recover.
Determined to help his nephew find his confidence, Jake launches “Operation Warrior Kid,” an ambitious training program inspired by his military experience. But this isn’t just about learning to fight. It’s about building resilience, discovering courage and learning to stand up for yourself.
Linda Cardellini also stars as Marc’s mother, Sarah, alongside Willink and a supporting cast that includes Ava Torres, Levi McConaughey and Parker Young.
Written by Will Staples (Without Remorse), Way of the Warrior Kid looks to deliver an uplifting story about overcoming adversity, finding inner strength and discovering what it really means to be a warrior.
Watch Way of the Warrior Kid on Apple TV starting November 25, 2026.
